Manual refresh will request a new backend check in the finished app.
Tamil Nadu districts
All 38 districts are included. Chennai remains the priority monitor.
District selection works in this prototype. Live district weather and closure records require backend integration. An interactive district map is included in the full V1.0 specification.
News & official notices

News discovery has not been connected yet
In Version 1.0 this area separates official orders, verified press releases, credible reporting and unverified leads. Sources and date of publication will always be visible.
How verification works
News → source discovery → authentic government notice or attributable statement → structured district/date check → verified alert. Repeated rumours never count as proof.
